About this download

An undated self-care workbook to print at home: 38 quiet pages for taking stock, making room and planning rest when you are worn out, stretched thin or close to burnout.

Think of it as a notebook with good questions. Most pages take about five minutes, there is no order to follow, and everything is written in your own words.

WHAT YOU GET: 38 PAGES

Where I am now

  • Taking stock: a snapshot of today
  • Energy check-in wheel: 8 parts of life to shade from running on empty to full
  • What drains me, what fills me
  • How the day felt: a week in your own words
  • Signs I am running low

What matters

  • Values sort: 44 words to circle, room for your own, then your five in order
  • Values in my week, more of and less of, my non-negotiables and a good-enough day

Making room

  • One-week time audit: 24 hours a day to shade by kind of activity, and a page to add it up
  • Everything on my plate, then drop, delegate or delay
  • Saying no: 6 sentence starters to finish in your own words
  • My unplug plan

Rest

  • Rest menu to tick: 30 everyday restful things, grouped by where you are, with blank lines for your own
  • My short list for 5, 15 and 60 minutes
  • Weekly rest planner and a slow day plan

Small steps

  • Five-minute check-in, two to a page
  • Small steps tracker: 4 habits of your own, 30 days each
  • One kind thing for me, good moments, and an on-my-mind page that sorts what is in your hands from what is not

People

  • My support circle, who I can call for what, and 6 asking-for-help sentence starters

Review

  • Weekly check-in, a two-page monthly reset and a letter to myself

Plus a cover, a how-to page that lists every page, a plain page on what this workbook is and is not, and lined and dot-grid notes.

ROOM TO WRITE

Every writing line is at least 0.32 in (8 mm) tall, and nothing is shaded in or filled in for you.

UNDATED: PRINT IT AGAIN EACH MONTH

No date is printed on any page. Print a fresh wheel (page 5), tracker (page 26) and monthly reset (pages 34 to 35) whenever a new month starts, and the weekly pages as often as you like.

SIZES AND FILES

Five PDF files, with the same 38 workbook pages in each edition:

  • Start-here guide with printing and binding tips
  • US Letter (8.5 x 11 in): color, with Patina Blue and sand accents
  • US Letter: ink-saving black and gray
  • A4 (210 x 297 mm): color, with Patina Blue and sand accents
  • A4: ink-saving black and gray

Every page keeps side margins of at least 0.7 in (17 mm), so there is room to hole-punch for a binder.

HOW IT WORKS

Download the files from your order page right after payment (the link is emailed to you too), print at home or at a print shop, and write on the pages by hand. Print only the pages you want. This is a print-and-write workbook; the PDFs are not fillable on screen.
