Questions parents ask

What ages is it for?

The stories are picture books for young children. Lil Panda English starts at age 5, and its levels go up to age 15.

How many children can use one membership?

We count devices, not children. The Family plan works on up to 5 devices, the Big family plan on up to 15.

Which devices does it work on?

Any phone, tablet or computer with a web browser, from launch day. The iPhone and Android apps follow in early 2027, and one membership works in all of them.

Is it safe for my child?

There are no ads, no chat and no links out of the app for children. Payments and settings sit behind a grown-up PIN.

What information do you collect about my child?

None of your child's personal details. We do not ask for a name, age or photo, and we never record your child's voice. We keep your email, your membership and reading progress on each device.

Can I limit screen time?

Yes. Set separate daily limits for stories and for activities, a bedtime and app hours. You can add time for the day, and Lock now stops the app on every device at once.

How does the free trial work?

The trial is 7 days with full access. We email you 3 days before it ends, with a one-tap cancel link. If you do nothing, your plan starts at the end of the trial.

How do I cancel?

Cancel any time from Grown-ups in the app, or from your Apple or Google subscriptions if you joined there. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for. We do not give partial refunds.

Which languages are there?

English, Vietnamese and Spanish for the stories, the narration and the app. You can show a second language under each paragraph. More languages are coming.

Who is Lil Panda English for?

Children learning English as a second language, at home or abroad. If English is your family's first language, you do not need it: the stories already teach new words.

Is the price the same in every country?

Yes, the same US dollar price everywhere. On the website, local sales tax or VAT is added at checkout where required. Apple and Google show the price in your currency.

Can I buy from outside the US?

Yes. The website checkout works in most countries. If your country is not available there, join in the iPhone or Android app.

How often do new books come?

We add new Little Panda books regularly. Members get every new book at no extra cost.

Do you have plans for teachers?

Yes. Classroom is $199.99 a year for up to 40 devices, and School is $599.99 a year for up to 300 devices. Teachers verify with a school email.

How do I get help?

Visit our support page at hoanglebookstore.com/support. We answer within 48 to 72 hours.

Do you pay for reviews?

Families who write an honest review after their trial get 14 free days. A 1-star review gets the same 14 days as a 5-star review, and every approved review shows that it earned free days.
