What sets the nine apart

Big Activity Book: ages 4 to 8, with pages about your child and 16 feeling words to point to, match and trace. The feelings pages give no advice and are not a lesson plan.
Animal: a farm and zoo visit with friendly cartoon animals.
Dinosaur: real names, spelled right. A pterosaur and a plesiosaur are called a flying reptile and a sea reptile.
Ocean: a day by the sea, with a page of true-or-false sea facts.

Younger or older child

The Big Activity Book has the fewest tricky pages, 16, against 19 to 23 in the other eight. Within each kind of puzzle the pages get harder as they go, so a younger child can start at the front of a section.
